Welcome to nintendofanboy
Welcome to Lewis Wells' website! "Why choose nintendofanboy.co.uk as your domain name?!" , This is a question that I frequently get asked on the phone when I have just told a phone operator my email address. Well to tell the truth, there isn't a reason! It's just a bit of fun really, I think I evolved the term sony-fanboy into my own :). Plus i like nintendo consoles so thats reason enough for me :).
Anyway! Congratulations on finding my website! It doesn't receive many hits, the website is really a portfolio of my past websites I've worked on. It also contains some recipes and some information on homebrewing! Both of which are quite a hobby of mine :). I also put photos on here that I've taken :).
The photo on the right is of me in Fornells in Menorca, it was taken quite some years ago!
I find the name of 'Cheesecake' actually puts me off the stuff! It makes me think of stinky cheese, not the creamcheese that actually goes into it. For that reason I don't think of the name when eating/making one! If they were called 'Creamcheesecake' that would be fine... A bit long though! I will ensure to upload some of my recipes as soon as possile, i intend on expanding them as and when I find more that I like.
I also fully intend on sharing with the internet my recent experiences of homebrewing! I am currently sitting infront of my very first batch of homebrew Lager! I have took photos so I shall upload them at some point of the process. I think homebrewing is going to come back in fashion, and for me it feels like a natural progression, all of us make food... Why not drink too?!
Homebrewing has become a much simpler affair these days, I have always been curious as to how it works so went about learning the science involved a long time ago. I was put off brewing my own Beer/Lager because of the myths of only being able to create 40 pints of awful undrinkable beer. I was recently put straight on this assumption by a colleague at my work who made some cracking lager on his first attempt!
More indepth information can be found on the topics breifly discussed by using the green navigation bar the the top right of the window. My colleagues beer really was a cracker! It was fresh, crisp! and perfectly fizzy! I hope the Lager I am currently brewing comes out as good! The beer looks cloudy in the photo but it wasn't at all, the illusion is created by the beer being really cold.
